BR 1-10: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

This story is about Snow White. It called "Shirayuki Hime" in Japan.

One day, there was a young Queen. She sighed "I wish I had a child, with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood and hair as black as ebony wood." Her wish came true. The Queen's daughter had skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood and hair as black as ebony. The king was delighted and named her Snow White. But young Queen died later.

"My child needs a mother" he thought. Within a year, he had married again. His new wife was vain. Morning and night, she asked her magic mirror the same question "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of us all?" the mirror said "You are." But one morning, the Queen asked the same question, the mirror said "Actually, it's snow white." the Queen decided to kill Snow White. The Queen ordered the huntsman "Take Snow White to the forest and kill her." The huntsman took her out to the forest. But he didn't kill her and he said "Please escaped!" Snow White ran the dark forest and she saw a cottage. She entered a cottage and found seven tiny beds. She slept in the bed because she was so tired. While Snow White slept, the cottage door opened and seven dwarfs trooped in "She's beautiful." they all sighed together.

Next morning, Snow White told them about the Queen, the dwarfs were disgusted, "Stay here." they said "We'll take care of you!"

In her palace bedroom, the Queen asked her usual question, the mirror said "Snow White is fairer. She's living in a cottage in the forest." "Snow White is alive?" the Queen got angry.

In a secret room, the Queen made a magic apple. It looked so delicious, whoever saw it would have to eat it. But she dipped one half in poisons. Then she dressed up as a farmer's wife and went to the cottage. Snow White took a bite the apple. That moment, she fell flat on her back.

Seven dwarfs were so sad. They couldn't help her. They placed the coffin on a nearby hill and took turns keeping watch. Snow White had been there for over a year when a prince rode by. He saw her and he fell in love. He carried the coffin because he want put it in his a castle. As he lifted it, one tripped. The coffin slipped and the apple flew from Snow White's mouth. It astonished them. She opened her eyes. The prince said her "please marry me!" Snow White said "Yes." So they married.

I knew this story but it is different that I know. I think Snow White was wake up by prince's kiss. I don't like this story. Because I think this story isn't romantic! haha XD But it is interesting very much!
